Power steering question?
I just got my Euro R H22a and realized something I hadn't even thought of, no power steering. There's no power steering pump where (on a regular H22) it ought to be. All I could find were a few pictures of the Euro R Accord, and I didn't see one there either. Is that right? No power steering in the Euro R Accord?
they need the ps pumps to pay the freighter toll across the atlantic.....
thats what Ive heard also. They also only use one type of lightbulb in the brakelight and utilize a chinese cut carpet rather than the JDM/Euro stuff.

Yeah, thats what I wanna know. The pics I found were of a kid in japan with his stock Euro R, so they definately don't have a belt driven pump. But whats this about electric power steering?
BAH! you dont need no stinkin p/s
but if you really need it, look on your motor if it has the bolt holes for the p/s pump bracket, then ill sell you my bracket. the holes should be on the front of the block, on the right hand side, you know, where the p/s usually goes.

Nah. I'm doing a manual conversion.
I just wanted to make sure I didn't get hosed.
BTW it does have the bolt holes for a p/s pump. It's the same h22 block, just differnet pistons, head, intake manifold, higher compression, etc.

Euro-R and CF4 Accord use EPS (electric power steering). It have a button on the cockpit for you to adjust the force of PS.
However, it is very crap. It will suddenly decide not to function while you drive(known fault).
Very dangerous!!
