got my jimfab xmember today
love it. first impressions are excelent of this piece, quality craftsmanship, and good material. had to remove the front mount since it wouldnt clear my engine(b18c1, moved mounts) but other than that it bolted right in. Slapped the car on the alignment rack and went to work. took me a while balancing the camber kit and the rod ends on the jimfab, but got everything together and balanced. drove it down the road and noticed an immediate improvement in curves even at slow speeds and the car feels more "solid" in the front end. I'll be track testing it this weekend as I go for the 7s(best pass so far 8.4 in the 1/8th mile.
aint it though!
Just an FYI, the front mounts clear a B16 with Hasport mounts by 2 inches or so. no modification nessecary for B16 owners.
wow jimfab = 8 seconds to 7 seconds.. lol

Does this xmember completely replace the stock crx one ? I want to purchase one really bad but my crx is my daily driver and on their website it clearly states its not for street cars. Do you guys have them on your daily drivers? If so.......SWEET!!! I WILL BUY ONE!!!
yes it replaces the stock one. front xmember and radius rods.
it says not for street cars because of liability reasons but who cares. if it works for race only cars, it definitely will work for street cars. im ordering mine too.

Hasport doesn't make a front mount...HCP however does.
The first batch of place racing crossmembers had a tendency to break. I think they have since redesigned them and they are holding up better

Also no one ever said anything about this being a lightweight crossmember!! It weighs almost the same supposedly, and is made of chromoly, so it is definitely strong. When it is stated for track use only, it is to avoid lawsuits, and legal issues!!
No, the Hasports are designed to use only three mounts. With the hasports there is hardly any engine movement at all. The HCP kit uses four mounts and it is designed to run most effectively with all four mounts.
Jared- let us know how it feels on the track...i was really considering one of these last week...i couldnt justify getting one of these till i spend the money to up grade the suspension on my car...but then i dont wanna loose trhe chance of missing out on the deal of $350 shipped!...you guys think i should just get it now even tho i have stock suspension on the rex....i also run a b18c
