Fail. He was asking for JDM/EDM types, if they differ. All USDM cars need running lights, that is obvious to the OP.

Depends. Some euro countries have them on all the time, and I was told some have them turn on when it gets dark automatically (photo sensor maybe). Japan is wired to turn on with what we would call 'parking lights.' Their front turn signals are single filament, used only when turning, along with the side markers. Thats the reason they are called 'city lights.'

I wired mine to cut on with the parking lights, and left the parking lights circuit on, since its illegal to not have corner lights in US. "JDM" would be to just route the 'low' power wire from corner light to city light.

jdm corner lights only comes on when blink and they on use a 2 wire pin... usdm stay on at all time if not its illegal.. usdm uses a three wire pin..red, black, green.. red is not on the jdm but on the city lights..thus red mean power on all time... green is ur signal lights..n black is ur ground..

I have jdm headlight assemblies on my civic and I wired the running lights to come on when I turn my corner lights on, but not to blink with the turn signals. There might be a pic of it on my info
