ok guys.. i have a 91 ef si hatch that is completly stock besides my 17" rims with 205/40 r17 tires.. i am about to lower it with sprint lowering springs and im trying to decides the drop rate i want.. i can either get 2 1/2" in front and 2" in rear or 3 1/4" in front and 3" in rear.. i wanna tuck all tha way around but i dont wanna scrub.. can i get away with the 3 inch springs with my 17s?

the 17's will most deff rub With a 3 inch drop unless you and negative camber become best friends. And drive around like this lol

 

Yea 17s r way too big for any hatch do u have any 15s lying around?

heres my old hatch i had with it dumped as low as i could take it on my egay coilovers. thats like 3-4 inches....and this is with 18x7.5's

i had negative camber in the front and in the rear i had it as flush as possible without the rims/tires hitting the fenders. and the front and rear lips were also rolled.

i hat 17 in enkeis on my 91 si hatch and they rubbed on stock springs when goin over the smallest bump. got some 15s after selling the 17s to some ricer kid with an automatic fo doe (he needed wheels to go with his giant gay *** wing lmao). im still on stock springs. roads around here would be brutal to my car if i did lower it any.

 

sounds like michigan roads to me hatchet...

 

had 17s on a crx back in the day probly 2in drop and rear wheels were too wide and hit the fender well on bumps. front wheels rubbed real bad!

if anything get coilovers and adjust to you likings
