Default Valve cover screw tightening, broken now lol

How many of y'all have done this and now have 3 screws holding down the VC? on a SOHC. what can be done to fix it? Oil keeps on fluding my damn spark plug #2...

Replacement with OEM replacements and buy a torque wrench.

Get a pair of viced grips and twist the old one out and put OEM piece back in. If you haven't done the VC gasket and the spark plug tubes also do them to stop your leaks.

Also if the bolt snaped off flush and you cant grip it with vg. Use a easy out and a drill bit

If the screws are flush with the cyl. head buy/borrow a left hand drill bit and extractor set. Clean VC and replace with a VC kit. Local part store will do, just dap it with RTV sealant and refill motor oil.

I've stripped mine but never broken 1 off. Went to the junkyard and got it plus a clean vc gasket for cheap too cause I was leaking.
