Hi guys. Just had a quick couple of questions about these. First off I will be installing the manual mirrors. I hear that there are problems with visiability with the passenger's side. What my question is do you use the factory adjustor, that come with the stock mirrors for the spoon mirrors? Or do these spoon mirrors not even adjust? Thanks in advance.

 

You have to manually adjust the "mirror" portion with your hands of coursre. In order for the passenger side to look correct, you have to redrill two new mounting holes on the door sail. Use the one closest to the corner because that is the only stock hole that will line up.

 

really you have to modify the base of the door. how lame is that. you would figure if your going to sell knock offs they would be next to perfect clones.

 

I guess it depends on the knockoffs you get. No drilling required on the CF pair that are on my wife's hatch. Also with less mirror area it will take some getting used to. I hate driving her car.

 

If you're going to buy knockoffs play it safe and at least buy JDMshit. They're for the most part gotten solid reviews for a knock-off company. The mirrors might be a little more expensive than ebay but they have a larger customer base, good customer service, and I've yet to see more than 1:10 complain about visibility with their mirrors.
