i have owned two 5th gen accords. both cars have had slow window motors. now i have heard that this is a very common problem. so.......i was wondering first why? then how do you fix it, permanetly. i went to honda and got the window lube stuff. have yet to put it on. but to me that just seems like a temporary solution not a permantant fix. just really tired of these slow window. thanks for the help.
Perhaps the DIY for door actuators from gianinline will help you out. Its for the noise, but it's also useful for seeing how to get at everything if you should need to replace them.

Clean the rails of the windows with soapy water and q-tips, get all of the gunk out. Then put the Shin Etsu grease in there with q-tips. Apply liberally, if you bought the tube you have a lot of it.
And as far as I know, that's the permanent solution. You'll have to redo it every year or two.

I use 303 aerospace protectant, spray it in the window chanels run the windows up and down a couple times works like magic. You can find it on the web or any boat supply store.

so then what is the "fault" from honda, for the windows being so slow. is it the sliders, did they not use the right lube from the factory, or any at all, or is it the motors themselfs? You know i have also owned a 99 and 95 prelude, 92 integra and i never had a problem with those cars. so why is it that the 5th gen ACCORD has this problem. anyone know, im just courious. and ya i did some more searching and it seems that everyone uses the lube to fix the problem, so guess what im doing this weekend................thanks
And the grease is Shin Etsu grease, a little under $16 at the dealer or about $12 online (plus shipping). It's an industrial-grade silicone grease, great stuff. You can see a picture of it at this site, towards the bottom of the page:
