I bought the dist because mine was sqeaking. I oiled the bearings on my old one to hold me over till the other one arrived. Well the old one stopped sqeaking and I have since sold the car, so I don't need the dist. It was removed from a 97 LS with 30k. The guy that sold it converted to LS/VTEC and switched to a GSR distributor. The distributor comes with cap, rotor and wires.
