can you use an obd0 distributor on obd2? swap bogging, help.
hey ht. I had an obd0 b18a in my ed6 & I blew it up so I replaced the longblock with an obd2 b18b. I reused my complete ob0 intake manifold, ecu, dist, ect ect. The car starts up and idles fine but when you try to drive it kinda backfires and bogs. I had to plug the hose from the iac because it went to the back of the obd0 block that I'm not using, could that be an issue? I don't have a cel & I'm pretty stumpedd. Thanks.
obd0 pr4 & yes. i read somewhere on here that obd0 distributors have a 16tooth crank sensor while the obd 1/2 distributors have a 24. can anyone confirm this?
no a obd0 ecu can not run a obd1/2. Dizzy. And yes as the obd0 dizzy has 16 tooth crank sensor and the obd1/2 dizzy have a 24 tooth. And the the reason it will not work
