2000 civic si single cam changed head gasket,everything is fine but no matter what i do i have a small vac. leak.i changed gasket 2 times.intake is flat and clean.any tricks or ideas???? thanks Jim

 

2000 civic si is not a single cam its a dual cam b16. im guessing your talking about a y8 single cam vtec. maybe since its a 2000 it has air injection holes which u need to hook up or plug them. you can pull it off and put rivets in the 4 small holes and plug the top nipple thats what i did with my edelbrock intake manifold. maybe read up here they went alil more extensive here with drilling and tapping but u can use riviets instead easier and faster then grind them off if you would like flush to the flangehttp://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-f...manifolds.html. goodluck

 

It is a 2000 si but a canadian model the same as the ex in the U.S.I READ THE LINK pulling of intake again,will check for air injection.stupid intake dam!!!
