15x8 +25 on EK9
Hey CL. Like the title says, I got some 15x8 +25 Enkei J-speeds for my '97 EK9 and I was looking around for tire sizes and got a whole bunch of mixed information. So I've decided to start a new post and ask for you guys' comments on this.
What kind of tire size do I need so that I won't be rubbing against my fenders or anywhere else?
Any inputs would help but I would very much appreciate to hear from you if you have personally done this fitment before or know of someone that has done this before. Pics are always a bonus. (:
Thanks!

Well, you're going to need a few things:
1. Suspension settings. If the car is at stock height without any camber, it's a lot easier to state tire fitment for clearance.
2. Goal. Are you looking to track this car, or basically make it street drivable?
3. Legitimacy. Is it truly an EK9 that you have? Because last time I checked, they only came in 5-lug and the J-Speed's are 4-lug. Also, EK9's were not available to the US Market. We only got EJ6's for '96 - '00 hatchbacks here.

Dude, you will rub no matter what with that size... I ran 15x7.5" +30ET Konig Candy's on my hatch, and they rubbed. The tires were 205/50/15's, and they rubbed like a bitch. Granted, my car was low, but not rediculously low, and I could've gotten skinnier tires, but they still rubbed everywhere. You can get them to fit, but it will be tight and rub for sure, unless you monster truck it. Honestly though, it's only rubbing, so I wouldn't worry about it man.
It rubbed at this stance, which is where I left it, but I had it a bit lower previously.

I rolled my fenders, actually I'll upload the pic tomorrow, and the pic shows how little the gap is between the rear quarters. I had like a quarter inch from rubbing the quarters, but it rubbed the inner rear well of the back, and I completely destroyed the inner fenders up front, making them eventually fall off, and I actually flattened the arch of the front fenders from corners... Not really a problem. but if that was from that height/width/offset, the dude will have major problems with his. However, I noticed EG's and EJ8's seem to go a bit wider, but not much, idk how you did it. And yeah the pic actually doesn't look low at all.
