Need some guidance
so Ive been looking for a decent write up to set my eg hatch up for the strip. I ran the car all last year but just seem to be having traction issues to the 330ft mark
The car is a eg hatch h22 powered, car makes 611hp and 442ft/lbs Im running the blox drag coils 12k 18k rates along with a avid traction bar and rear blox lca's. I also have skunk2 upper control arms up front set to zero. obx lsd and comp twin disk,For slicks i rock M&H Racemaster 25x8.7 13" for what ever reason the car just will not get to 10's it runs 11.2 all day with a consistent 1.7 60ft with the occasional high 1.6 60ft, ive tried to dial the bbg down to 14 psi in 1st and 2nd but just does not seem to help my cause still shocks the system any pointer you'll could lend or a link to a decent write up would be greatly appreciated thank you

its after the launch when i shift in to second she breaks loose every time. i have to pedal it through second for the traction to come back, my bbg is 14psi 1st 18psi's 2nd 32 psi 3rd and 32 psi's 4th (611hp), it's like when the car lifts off the launch it slams down and transfers all the weight from the front to the rear so fast shifting into 2nd the car cant hook ,so i was wondering is this caused by a camber issue maybe being im zero'd out at a stance and causing a smaller contact patch when it raises back up or if maybe a stonger spring rate would be what a guy need in the back? prob doesnt help im 275lbs my self lol any input would be great thanks guys
I do believe its about 2450lbs or so with me in it if i remember right its been two years since i scaled it, the slicks are mh 25x8.7 13 it just seems to transfer a little much 1st to 2nd after that she has no issues from 2nd to 3rd and 4th

yeah go get an alignment for sure and play with the bbg. if it blows the tires off right away in 2nd lower it to 14psi at the begginning of 2nd and then ramp it up to whatever doesnt break loose too bad
Well its a h22 and you should have plenty of weight upfront and with 600 plus you should be well into the 10s... I don't think you should turn the boost down especially with 25s I think you should stiffen up the back so also how long have you been on these slicks sounds to me like its time for a new set

we've had luck with bot the mh and mt. you just need to play around with your setup. what psi are you running in the slicks?
we had our best 60's with 4-5 psi in the 25's. try lowering it one run

whatever you do, dont launch in 2nd....
what do you think your camber is going to be in 2nd gear if it's set to zero at rest???
in second gear the nose will lift quite a bit causing positive camber...and loss of traction
driving could play a big factor also, faster shifting and fts will prevent the car from nosing down

prob going to adjust the camber in the front ill look at some pics and try to simulate the lift as close as possible and go from there thank you all for the advise
If you bring it by my work in the spring we can use the jacks on the alignment rack to simulate the lift of the front end and see where your camber is in real time and adjust accordingly
I've witnessed this car in person. Its a strange issue and makes me scratch my head in confusion. But a prime example that HP doesn't mean anything if you can't put it down
