Soo i got an eg hatch. b18c1 swap. Just brought a gsr dcsport header. My problem is i got a big gap after the header and before the b-pipe. How long is a stock gsr cat because i got a stock civic cat and im like 6 inches or so too short. Any info would be great.

 

similar thing happen to me when i swapped my motor i had to cut my flange and ad piping to fit my header. then with my type-r rep dcsport header and i had to cut my piping and shorten it to fit because the header was longer. just go to a muffler shop and they will take care of it shouldnt cost that much no more than 50 or so thats just an estimate

 

yeah, i know i could just bring it to a muffler shop but i was wondering if the oem gsr cat is the correct fit, so i would just rather buy a cat and have it direct bolt on then do any welding. anyone got the measurements of the oem gsr cat? i've been looking but cant find it.

 

the length of a gsr cat is about 17 1/2 inches from flange to flange

 

i used a integra cat on my ls in my civic with a dc sports header.

 

damn.. how about will the pipe after the cat in a 3dr gsr fit my hatch?
