Default Can Ecu's go bad???

Sup lude dudes. Yea, I think my p13 is faulty because my car feels really shityy when driving normally but it hits vtech like a monster. So currently its hooked up to a p14 which makes it run fine but it feels like 140 hp instead of the 190 that the h22 puts out. I have h22 injectors so this leads me to beleive that the p13 ECU might be messed up

it may very well be a faulty ecu. the first swap i bought had a faulty pw0 ecu, and my expierience was pretty much what you just described.

Don't start guessing though, before you even consider buying one find someone you can swap ECU's with and see if your car runs better.

Thank you, someone actually replied. I bought the car with h23 injectors in the motor which is why it was hooked up to the p14. I got the rite injectors and hooked it back up to the p13 but it rides shitty. If i can find someone who will lend me ther p13 i will definetly test run the car

No cel's, just abs light on. When hooked up to the p13 it runs super shitty at low rpm's but it comes alive above 4 1/2 rpm. Rite now its hooked up to the p14 ecu and it runs fine but vtech doesnt engage. That why i think it has smething to do with a faulty ECU.

Alrite so i found that my first cylinder is misfiring when hooked up to the p13 which is causing it to run shitty. This doesnt happen with the p14 which means that the engine is confused wen hooked up to the p13. I think the dude before me messed up on the swap and didnt change the dizzy or something
