i have a 1985 lude five speed with a header and duel carb's. i wnat to know what to buy performance wise and where to buy it. i am in michigan.

 

sell it... u might be able to squeeze a six pack out of it...

 

first, an 85 lude is a second gen lude. to mod that car you will need money and patience. you won't get a lot of power out of that motor. your best bet with that car would be to get some webber sidedraft carbs, some good ignition parts (probably an msd, thicker wires, plugs, cap, rotor), get a header and a cat-back exhaust. after you do that, work on suspension and get that car to handle really good. that is really all you can do to that car. there are other mods you can do i am sure, but you have to want to spend the money. a lot of it becomes internal after those basic mods. good luck.
