Icon2 The infamous Volk GT-C specific Lug. I have a question..

So as most of you all know, maybe some don't. The Volk GT-C requires a special lug that uses a shank style design for them to installed correctly. A regular, acorn, spline drive, tapered, ect. lug will not work as they will not even grab the first set of threads on the stud. I just picked up a set of these and I may have found a cheaper solution. Wether or not it's your ideal setup that's irrelevant, but I would like to get someone's opinion on wether or not it would be safe to run this similar lug with roughly half the amount of space that still grabs up to about 5-6 turns per stud (which we all know under severe driving conditions would take alot of stress to cause failure. Anyway, take a look. Would you feel safe with these? I have to make a decision today on these. Thanks!

The shank lugs I've found locally($30) as opposed to the lugs ($120 from rays)

wheels for reference
