Default Climate control removal.

so after searching it seems as everyone has problems with this. my car with no climate control so im taking it out of a donor and putting it in mine. ive got the dash pieces off and the climate control is accessible what i dont not understand is how to get the hard lines off of their respective levers and whatnot. the hard lines/cables run through little plastic hook/clips that keep them tight before looping into the levers and i cant figure out how to get those off either. it seems as if there is a break in the line to where i can move the line a bit it will just lift out of its hook/clip/housing but nothing will budge.

any help appreciated. pictures, how to's, personal stories whatever

all you gotta do is pull the cable out of its respective clips. there is one under the dash and one in the engine bay. once the cables are free from there clips you should be able to maneuver them out of their hooks.
