EVAP Removal?
Does the AEM even control the oem EVAP system anymore? After my last build and adding the AEM two years ago, I'm wondering if it's even controlling it now?
I put the motor in the car yesterday (finally) and I wanted to remove it but wasn't sure.
It's a bundle of solenoids/hoses/etc from the tank/charcoal canister.
Curious if anyone else has, I know I would still need to vent the tank, I removed it on my 99 Si I used to have.
Pro's/con's on this car?
Any advice/thoughts/flames?
Thanks.

It doesn't control it anymore with the aem. You can take it out but you have to figure out a way to vent the tank that you won't be smelling fuel in the cabin the whole time. If your car still has an air pump under the front drivers headlight you can remove all of that as well.

Haha I guess I should have looked at the sig. I'd rip mine off but I had a civic exactly like yours 00 EBP SI and when I took the can out it stunk up the cabin like crazy.
