Id be interested if you cut the price by about 40%. i know its a gsr. I understand its potential....

Lets be honest though. That car looks like its been through hell and back.

I passed up a better looking one yesterday for $2900 in Fresno because it wouldnt smog and had 240k. Had a clean title though. Had flawless interior.
Even had nice blades. I may have made a mistake.:thud

your car has very low miles or a new gauge cluster.

Its hard to find a 95 GSR with less than 150k. Props for that.

BUT.............

It has 92-95 civic seats.

Its on donks.

The body has seen better days to say the least.

Salvage title.(i know, probably due to theft) still shows up on pink *SALVAGED*

Id bet 2 to 1 it wont smog.

And the tranny is no good. (IMO grinding 3rd=needs new syncros/forks)

Id make you a cash offer if you came way down.

I know im comming off like an ***.

But damn man...it is what it is.

Theres a reason it hasnt sold for $3,000 yet.

It would make a great project for someone.

Id be interested in trying to restore it to its original greatness.

Even once thats done, its still *salvaged*.

Hey mods..if im out of pocket, delete my post.

Im not trying to be disrespectful in any way.

Im just trying to be honest and help this person sell their car.

Noone will buy it at $3,000.

If they do, then they know something that i dont.

Which is possible because i dont know ****.

Let me know if you want to deal paradox

Also..if youre in the barter business, i have some unique equipment that might be very enticing to the right person.

If youre interested, PM me and ill give you details.

Take care

thanks for your interest. But a cheap $300 paint job & a set of $200 blades would put this car into the $4000 price tag & with my hook up on itr fronts it would easily be into the $5,000.

it doesn't have civic seat's in there anymore.

and for the transmission it just might be a clutch. I won't know til i crack the tranny open [by the way i have a spare tranny]

you can go and find a ls for what i'm asking for. yes "salvage title" but hey guess what i seen plenty of "clean title" cars that were way worser then mines.

for all you "clean title" fanatic's.. it's just a "peace of mind" but hey i personally had a new car rear ended and the only reason it wasn't "totalled/salvaged out" was because it was 2 years old.

i came across people who auction cars and all they had to do was replace a fender and it was salvaged out by just that fender alone.. or stolen front seats.

and if i do pass smog would you pay me double? if not don't say it won't pass smog cause it definitely will!

no insult but if you know how to work on car's then it's as easy as it would be. I know H-T is a smart community.

if you don't got nothing good to say then don't say anything. I never flamed on anyone's thread or talked ****. so respect my asking price.. please go do your research cause my shell is easily $500-$1,000 and my motor is still real healthy.

No disrespect. I wasnt trying to flame your thread.

People may ask 3k for their salvaged LS, but noone is buying it i promise.

Salvage title brings down resale value. Most GSRs are salvaged due to theft.

Those astriks drop the value by a lot.

If you notice; the GSRs on here that are going for 5k, have been on here for months. theyre not selling.

Theres also no point in fully restoring a salvage because if you wreck it or loose it, insurance will cash you out about 50% of its high blue book value. I know this because i asked my insurance company.

A $300 paint job wont be much. Even if you have the hook up.

A nice two stage will run about $1200 if the body is ****.

Also if it the grind was caused by the clutch or slave, it would probably grind every gear. Everyone knows 2nd to 3rd is the big indicator of a tranny thats been powershifted a few hundred times.

Id be interested in this car for $2,000.

When someone pays you $3,000; pm me and let me know what a flippin idiot i am!!

Below is a black GSR.

This is what $2,800 can buy you.

I called too late.

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/2202961237.html

Oh and as for that guy with the blades comment..blades are like $300 max.

That is the last thing id ever worry about on a car.

It does help sell the car though.

Im sure some fanboy would be more likely to look at your car if it wasnt on donkeys.

Let me know when youre ready to deal!!

the only reason why i don't put any more money into this car is because I don't have any to spare at the moment and also alot of people switch **** out.

like even though it has the gsr interior in it they would still put bucket seats/itr etc. or rims or even a paint job.

not everyone keeps the car stock, especially this community.

that's one of the major reason why.

I also didn't rattle can it and kept the faded paint so they can see that i'm not hiding anyting on the car and that it's all stock.

there was no reason for me to mod the car in any way.

just a waste of my time & money especially this being one of 4 cars I own at the moment.
