DC2R - Clunking Noise coming from drivers side door? on bumpy roads only
Hi guys recently ive noticed a clunking noise coming from my drivers side door only usually hear it on bumpy roads just like a single clunk noise but kinda getting annoying..
Ive taken the whole door trim off and driven with out it to see if it was the trim being loose causing it?
but it still does it? Any ideas?
Window moving maybe? it does it with window up and down...
Any help would be great..
Cheers

Speaker loose? Window motor/regulator loose? There's not much else in the door outside of the handle and lock/unlock bars. Some random wiring and what not. You'll need to pull the plastic like sheet held on by goopy sitcky stuff off to see if you can find anything.
With the panel off, reach into the bottom of the door and feel around. The vertical window guide may have fallen out of place. It's about 13" long and 5/8" wide.
ok update, Pulled door trim off had a look inside of door the rubber guide is still intact and window has no movement to make noise, everything looks normal.
Took car for a drive around block with no door trim on and the noise still occurs i unscrewed pretty much everything from the door...
Hmm can still hear a metal clicking noise!! only on bumps or when going up driveways.
What else could it be?

OK UPDATE - JUST TO SHED SOME LIGHT! WAHOO00oOoo that annoying clicking noise is finally gone. I can enjoy my car again with out the creaking noise!
The fix works guys, make sure you do it with someone who knows what there doing. you need to remove the bonnet once you have found the area you will see its covered it a hard silicon material you must chisel this off once your down to baremetal you can then bash the **** out of it using a centre punch.
Once hammered it go test it on a driveway if you can slightly still hear the noise keep hamering a way with a few more hits. After you have finished make sure you apply black paint back to this area so it doesn't rust.
Once this is done and the noise is completely gone I recomend you get this professionally done - PLUG Welding. Drill a hole in the area maybe a 3 holes the weld metal inside this will prevent it from coming back ever again from over time will make that area very stiff and rigid.
THE END OF THE CREAKING CRACKING CLICKING NOISE YaY!! ENJOY =oD
