Got Some Question For Ya
Car: '91 Civic Dx D15b2 I/H/E HF tranny DPFI(Soon to change to MPFI as soon as the weather heats up a little)
1st Q: Can you change DX gears into an HF tranny? Let's say i want to change 1-3 gears into the HF tranny. Is it possible? Is it just dissemble take out the HF gears and slap on the Dx gears? Reason being i want to do this is because my DX tranny blew up on me. The main shaft that keeps all the gears aligned is missing ALL of it;s teeth. Yet the gears look fine. Now i have a HF tranny that has pretty crummy gears for speed.
2nd Q: Could a new gas filter fix my bogging problem? Every time i drive it while it still being cold it runs fine. Rev's all the way to the red line. Yet 10 mins into driving, i put it into first and it bogs and hiccups until i pass 2.5k and same problem exists before i reach 5k. Yet, when i put new gas into her and a little of injector cleaner for the hell of it, its all fine and she's ready to hit the red line again. WTF?
3rd Q: People with a D15 engine that have the A6 cam. Have y'all experienced a nice jump in power compared to the B2 cam? I want to do this also putting a Mugen or Spoon chip into it also. Do you have both? Let me know what y'all think about it. Interested person here haha.
Sorry for the super long post y'all but i just want to see what your opinion is on everything here.
P.s.- I don't want to do an engine swap just yet. So people that're just going to tell me to do a ZC, B16b/c, or B18c swap(or any other swap) thanks, but not yet. Finances aren't in the green yet.

I would say the answer for number two is it could be. I would change out it as its only a $12 filter. I would also change the plugs. When was the last time you changed the wires. Had a similar case with a buddies saturn. Changed the fuel filter and plugs and it was better.
