Sway Bar Endlinks
Hey everyone, Ive searched and looked but I havent really found anything. Does anyone know a way to make new stronger endlinks for the sway bars? Or are the stock ones strong enough not to break for a stiffer bar? Maybe someone could help me out with a link to pre-made ones instead? Thanks in Advanced
I made some a while back for my Progress rear bar....pretty easy really.
-Find longer upper endlink bolt (I used a Prelude alternator bolt)
-Find bolts/nuts/washers for endlink to sway bar
-Order some heim joints in the size hole you need
-Order threaded rod that will fit heim joints
-Play legos and you have an adjustable endlink

O thats why I didnt recognize it at first. Forgot to read it where it said its a rear bar lol. Rear bar looks easier to make, but Im kinda wondering what the strength of both of them are. Are stock ok for a thicker bar? Or do ou guys recommend making ones like Hawkze's?

The mounts for the sway bar bushings generally tear out of the frame before the endlinks fail, but they are definitely not super strong. The main reason to use endlinks other than stock is clearance...you may find a bigger bar will come in contact with the body at some point, and adjustable endlinks can fix this.
I just bought some at autozone for $25 each side. Oh, and it has a lifetime warranty. If you don't want to fabricate then I'd suggest this route. My car felt nice and tight after I installed them.
Hmm ok. Fabrication I dont mind. I actually prefer to fabricate my own parts when I can. Ill have to look at them to really see how to make them stronger. Also thanks Hawkze for showing us your parts.
