Okay guys I'm just testing waters on my 02 Acura RSX Type-S. I absolutely love the car so I am in NO RUSH to sell it. It is very dependable and has never let me down.

I would rather trade than sell outright because I am currently in school and don't have time to be car-less. I am looking for an ep3, s2000, or maybe some type of factory boosted vehicle like an srt4. Would consider other trades as well if they are of equal value.


The wheels are NO LONGER on the car. Right now it has stock type-s wheels, but I do have a brand new set of Konig Remember (BBS RS replica) wheels in17x9 with a +35 offset. These are brand new- still in the box. I will include these for the right price.******

The mileage on the car is around 180,xxx BUT... The motor HAS BEEN REBUILT. The previous owner had this done when he owned it. I have the receipts for the engine bearings and whatnot. The valve seals, piston rings, rod and main bearings, and misc. gaskets were replaced. You can tell by driving the car that the motor does not have 180k miles on it so it speaks for itself.

The clutch was also replaced by the previous owner so it is also in great shape.

Everything on the car works- power steering, AC, heat, cruise, 6 disc Bose in-dash cd changer, etc.

There are maybe a total of about 3 VERY SMALL "dings" on the body of the car. Unless pointed out the only noticeable one is on the driver door. (hit
by a door of a car parked next to it)

The only only thing that may need some attention would be the serpentine belt. It has begun to squeak sometimes on start-up when it is very cold out. I will be more than happy to include a new belt for the new owner, or if it gets any worse I will be replacing it myself.
Could use new tires but I have been putting that off since I was going to swap to the Konigs as soon as the nasty winter weather is over.

Also it has about a nickle-size chip in the windshield- Has made it through 2 winters without spreading so it isn't going to get worse. I got quoted $50 to have it filled at Glassmasters but I have been too lazy to have it done since it hasn't given me problems.

I have done almost all of the work to the car myself.

The KBB good value is around $6,000 and it has over $3k in upgrades not including the Konig wheels so I feel that an extra $3,000 worth of installed parts should increase the value by $1,500 which is why I have it priced at $7500 OBO... DEFINITELY OPEN TO TRADES!!!--- as i said at the top i am mainly looking for an ep3 or s2000 but would be open to other stuff of equal value.
