well I finally got my OEM donut gasket from Acura, and then what? The damn donut gasket is too small to fit over the damn piping.....AAaaaAGhhHH
I just talked to Ben at A&J and he said this was the first time that someone had a problem with the exhaust. the bottleneck area is too big for the damn oem gasket, so I tried to widen the gasket out like an idiot. So now I have one fucked up gasket, 25 bucks down the drain and an exhaust that should be up to par, but isn't. All is not well.

Exody,
Do you have pics of the fitment of the gasket???? Does it just slip on or what, cuz I mangled this thing with a screwdriver trying to scrape the metal off so it would fit, but it wouldn't.

um, my fit fine. you just have to... press it on there. it WILL fit over it. if you don't get it all the way on, use the axle back (when you tighten the axle back onto the b-pipe) to further push down the gasket onto the b-pipe. i thought it wouldn't fit, but it does. btw, if you don't put your gasket on EVENLY, you will screw it up. put it on their even, *twist it on* and push.

damn i dunno what's up with this. I know for a fact that gasket won't fit. when I started to put it on, all the metal from the inside of the gasket was getting scraped off, I'm pretty sure that ain't supposed to happen.

alright, I give up. Either I got an abnormally narrow donut gasket or one fucked up b-pipe. Thanks A&J for my dirty clothes. Also thank you for the donut gasket material that I have now inhaled into my lungs.Of course, I am the first one to have a problem (so they say), but either way this system has been more trouble than it's worth. Should have gone Mugen.
Kenrick....who doesn't like getting the excuse "Gee, that never happened before". I mean it is one thing to sell a faulty product, but to not back your own product, that's just bad business.

Dude, chill. I'm sure you can get it to work if you get a new gasket. How did they verify you got the right one?

SERIOUSLY? OH CRAP. wait THAT HAPPENED WITH MINE.
::sarcasm::
don't worry about it. just push it on. you will take off the inner wall of metal, but it will still fit. trust me ont hat one. just twist and shove gently, yet firmly.
