I have a 94 Accord with a f22 vtec and would like to do a JDM swap...

Does anyone have a good JDM engine dealer in the states and has anyone done this swap here before?

What are the trouble areas I need to look at?

is the H22 a better fit than the F20?

You are a new user, but should exhaust your own resources prior to asking questions that have been answered hundreds of times over again.

Look at the Accord FAQ and go through the H22A swap guides. Do a search on F20B and H22A. Do a search on Google for motor swaps, then search for their names on Honda-Tech for reviews.

And before you ask, you can treat your wagon just like the Sedan or Coupe for most front end parts.

 

I have looked around and just wanted to hit it one more time just to see if anything fresh was out here.
There are so many websites that sell these engines just looking for a couple that someone has dealt with before.

The H22 and F20B will drop in the same way by using a Prelude or Hasport Billet driverside mount.

And for JDM engine importers, I'd search on Ebay and see where the JDM importers are located. Make sure they're from the states though then go from there.

 

actually you have to shave down the prelude mount pin for it to fit in the accord chassis

we also have a complete h22 mount kit for the 94-97 accord CDH1

 

Yes, I forgot that I had to shave down the pin hole on the Prelude mount to work in the CD Chasis. But with Hasport Billet mount, it snugs right in with no modification. I love my Hasport driverside mount and will plan on getting the tranny and rear mount for my H setup so it's more firm.
