Guy is selling Falken 912's with 9/32 tread for $250 but one tire has a ripped bead, is it still safe?

it might not even hold air with a rip in the bead like that. I work at a tire shop and if there is a tire like that froma customers car we put a new tire on. I wouldnt spend money on a tire that is ripped, thats just me though

nope, that tire is shot. 912s are cheap tires anyway, you price your size new at discount lately?

Yeah, but I'm in Canada. It's like $280ish for shipping plus all the duty fee's.

Absolutely not. Under stress, that tire will rip apart. It's one thing to have that happen at 25 mph; it's something completely different to have it happen at 70 mph.

That tire is beyond failure, as some people have noted.
