Function & Form type 2 coilover install 02 RSX..lowering the rear-help
2002 RSX type-S. Can someone help me with what I need to adjust on the rear coilovers to go low? I made a few adjustments and the car still sits as high as it did.
I'll try to get some pics today..its my brothers car so I have to travel to his house to get pics
I adjusted mine a lot on my rsx (skunk2 sleeves on koni yellow struts)..and it still looked too high so eventually just completely dumped it..my back wheel tucks a little bit now it looks good...just dump it

are you adjusting the preload or the ride height? The full threaded shock body is what you should be threading shorter.
so just thread the shockbody shorter and leave everything else? i started to on the one side but it seems like it didnt go down anything
I have function form type II's on my rsx. That happened to me, you have to adjust the shock body. Twist the small gold perch inside the spring and Use the wrench to hold the perches in place and twist the shock body upward so theres not as much thread under the perch
lol, it should go more. You see the gold perch inside the spring? twist so it goes higher which will allow you to twist the entire shock body upward as well which will make the car lower...when i put mine on I didnt do this and I was higher than stock then i redid my rear and now my wheels are tucked
I have about an inch or less left of thread from the top of the gold perch to the end of the last thread. and my wheel is tucked so just to give you some reference of how low you want to go
Im wondering if these wheels and tires will fit my honda ?

yea thats exactly what i had to do when i couldnt turn the perch with the wrench. take a flat head and use a hammer to hit it to try and get it loose.
i've been there..it's second to last resort..last resort...air hammer which ****s perches up..but it works in like 2 seconds lol
