Default 86 crx si, no power at all

i have an 86 crx si, got a little over 300k miles, but still gets about 33mpg, has a bit of a sentimental value. i commute to school, total of about an 1 hour drive each day. got home from school yesterday and got back into the car later, turned the key over and no power to anything at all.

first thing i thought was battery so i checked to see if i left anything on and everything was off, even tried to to jumpstart it and that did not put any juice to the system.

before i buy a computer, just wanted to see if anyone can give me some insight on if this is a common thing for the computers to die on these. i know it sits under the passenger the seat and is prone to moisture but the car is dry inside.

thanks guys.

Check the ground cables, all around, clean them up and tight them up... not only the battery one but also ignition and the thermostat ground...

Started tugging on wires and Found a broken positive wire that connects to the terminal from the fuse box. Thank you.
