The rebirth of my Sedan!!!!!!!!!
I have a 1991 civic sedan lx i had it for about 4 years now an i think its time to bring my b***h back to life. I bought the car for 600 it needed some work body wise came with the 1.5. I bought it off some old guy that said needed a trans well here the clutch cable was not adjusted it was just laying there lol i noticed it but obviously didnt say nothing lmao. So did the transfer an went back an adjusted the cable an drove it home. He did body work to it the rear end had patches of primer so took it to maaco an paid 375 for quick paint job(bad idea) it came out alright i guess for what i paid. A week later after getting the car painted i woke up on a saturday morning to go to work an when i opened the door there was my car hit from behind the trunk was open from the impact i guess an my rear bumper was laying on the floor not good at all i guess i was a victim from a hit an run. So grabbed the bumper shoved it in the car an took it to work i put it on my lift at work an found a really bad bad problem, found out that the brackets that hold the bumper were so rotted that they finished breaking off the car then found out that the whole rear door jams on both sides were molded with foam wtf. So you could imagine how i was feeling i guess he got me when i thought all along i pulled a fast 1 on him for the tranny situation i guess i lost lmao so since then she has been sitting just finally got motivated to give her life again. Wit that said sorry for the long story but just wanted to fill everybody in on the history of the car. Now i understand wit doing this an seeing other threads that were posted they will be negative comments thats fine with me say what you like i can handle it. Hopefully evrybody would like it but find thaaaaaat to hard to believe lol enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

An obviously im gonna paint the engine bay but dont know if to go wit a diff color or same color as the car. Any suggestions will be great

Paint it the same as the car, the mismatched paint is goofy and gold would look weird. If you want to tie in with the wheels paint the valve cover and pipes the same color as the wheels. The only different color engine bay I understand is white or light gray as it make it easier to see in the bay and makes it easier to find leaks and whatnot. Black tends to hide things under the hood. Not a big difference but it can be a little helpful if you plan to be in the engine bay a lot. So far the car look great, love the color. Paint all the trim to match and it will look awesome.
Most of the time it looks like some fool couldn't afford to paint his bay. It has to be done REALLY nice, with a really nice color to not give off that impression.

!!! What engine you want to put in?
