Default Noise from rear brakes

97 GSR. Recently I noticed some noise from the back, i assume its brake related.
When I back up, theres like a creaking sound. Then, off and on, when driving I hear some rattling/jiggling back there, almost like someone jiggling keys. If i hit the brakes the sound goes away, sometimes if i tap em while driving full speed the sound goes away for awhile.
Im planning on taking a look next week, but maybe someone knows what this is, so i can anticipate the cost and the size of the job.

Mine did that..... there are what i like to call cheater tabs. They cause the squeak/creaking when your pads are wearing out. when was the last time you changed your brakes?

In the back? No idea when they were changed last. I have put 30k miles on the car since I bought it. Good to know that its most likely the pads, i might change the rotors too.

low pad indicator its scrapes along your rotor to let u know its time to change the pads...its can also be that ur rotors are possibly warped depends on how it sounds exactly when you drive and brake

Drive slowly and pull the e-brake gently. If the noise stops when you pull the e-brake then it's definitely the pads that need to be replaced.
