I would not waste the time of modding it slowy without tuning it each time. The car will run like crap and adding a larger TB/IM will cause it to lean out at higher RPMs. I would start with basic bolt ons like a header, exhaust and intake. Save a few bucks and get a Performer X portmatched to a Omni 68mm TB then save for some cams to accompany that. You can get away with running the I/H/E untuned, but once you start changing major components it should be tuned. What pistons were you looking at? Any goals?
dont really know.. probaily itr or something. do i have to change out the pistons? i was aiming for like 160 to 170 hp. wanted to make like 30 or so more horsepower.
thanks for the help to bro

I've seen a type r replica manifold perform well on a stock gsr untuned ihe, especially top end belieive it may have been made by blox the only one I've seen like it

160-170 whp can be achieved with a relatively stock motor. Now if you're looking for 200+ then I'll recomment getting some cams and supporting mods.
