Default Need help picking cams Tuner 2 vs pro1 (H2B)

i cant seem to find dyno sheets of these cams on h2b

tuner 2 will give me more life out of my head and will cost less to tune?

pro1 i will eventually have to chang the VT mayb ? and are more expensive to tune?

i want to daily drive and have power at the same time without harming anything

dnt think ill need low end cuz i already have it

and my compression is 11.1

so tuner 2 or pro1?????????

if you have dyno sheets of these on h2b please post them

thanks

I'd go Pro1 since you have 11:1 CR already. Just perfect. With Stage 2 or Pro1 you'll have to get VT anyway depending if you're going Tuners or Pro series cams then you'll have to get whatever VT to match the cams from Skunk2. And there's no such thing as one will be more expensive than the other if you go Pro or Tuner cams when getting it on the dyno. Once you're cammed out, you need that tuned and it all depends on your tuner and how he tunes it. Good Luck!

I just had the same debate with myself.. I went with the Tuner stage 2's... Just by looking at dyno charts and thinking about MPG. You won't have as much bottom end power but from 5Krpm on the Tuner 2's look pretty nice on the dyno.

thanks guys, i jus bought a tuner valve train set. so ima go with tuner 2 cause it seems like their almost identicle to pro1s. you can find tuner valve train and cams cheaper than pro plus pro is gona cost a lilo more to tune and less cam idle.

soo any1 have a good set of tuner 2 they wana sell me?

My tuning session of the Pro2 cams only took my tuner an hour and thirty mins and I only had to pay around $220.00 or so for the tuning session. Also, my idle is smooth like stock and doesn't idle like any cammed out motor you've seen or heard.

If you're cammed, the tuner still had to adjust your AFR no matter what so it'll take a bit doesn't matter if it's a Tuner or Pro series cam.
