Default k series needs help

ok heres the deal 02 rsx s jumped timing. i have little time/resources/patience to myself to sit here and play with this thing. popped the valve cover off and i think the tensioner let loose. does anyone know a reputable guy in nj that wouldnt r a p e me to look at the motor.. in or out of the car which ever is easier. im just plain tired of messing with it and like i said, i have no time/ patience.. and plus theres still like a ft of snow on the ground, a ft on the way, and i have NO garage. i am capable of doing the neccesary repair, i just really honestly dont have the time and would appreciate hearing a second opinion on exactly what it is thats wrong with my engine. no dealers, no back yard boogie shops, im lookin for somebody that knows their ****, and wont dick me around. im not even lookin for someone to do the work, just an honest opinion. thanks everyone. NOOB. ; )

WOULD CRANK AT ONE TIME, BUT IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A WHILE, AND THE LAST TIME I TRIED TURNING IT OVER, ( TODAY )I COULDNT GET A CRANK OUT OF IT, AND THE IMMOBILIZER LIGHT DID COME ON IN MY FACE... NO IDEA .. SAW THE C/E/L BLINK THEN TURNED OFF. GRRRR. SPUN MOTOR BY HAND TO T.D.C. AND I SAW THE TIMING CHAIN SKIPPING TEETH JUMPING AND THERE WAS A **** TON OF SLACK IN THE CHAIN. IM SURE THE TENSIONER LET GO, IM UNSURE THO, AS TO THE FATE OF MY MOTOR OTHERWISE I GUESS I FEAR THE WORST. BENT VALVES OR WORSE..I JUST WISH I KNEW FOR SURE.. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE OTHER THAN GRAB GRENADE.. PULL PIN, PLACE ON MOTOR, DROP HOOD, AND HAUL ***? PLAN OF ATTACK ON THIS ONE? WHAT WOULD YOU DO FROM MY STANDPOINT? OH AND B.T.W. IM AROUND THE 07733 AREA.SO IF ANYONE IS CLOSE BY, AND WOULDNT MIND HELPIN ME OUT, (RARE THESE DAYS BUT POSSIBLE) IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED. I KNOW THERES PEOPLE OUT THERE WITH PLENTY MORE KNOWLEDGE OF THESE MOTORS THAN I HAVE.. THANKS EVERYONE.

i once had a broken timing belt on an sohc motor, put a new on on and was good to go. never on a dohc motor though. try a new tensioner and put it back together and go from there.?

if you can't find help here, try the allmotor form.
