to much power!!lol
sup HT.had a question for ya ef lovers
.well ill start by saying that i have a b20z in my ef hatch, and the swap was done right by a very well known shop in my area!.but this is my first bseries swap in a ef ,and i was wondering if it was normal if the car had a quick *** throttle response!lol.(i know that sounds weird)but the reasons am asking is bc i can barely get of the gas and the motor will like jerk down ,kinda like when you drop it a gear.and when you barely touch on the gas it jerks you back haha.am not a noob.i had fast cars ,but never a ef.just wanted to see if ya had any ideas of what it can be.like is it normal for it to do that
.
thanks in advanced HT.please no smart *** remarks.

"the fly will is not lighting" What?.....anyways.....Dude, you can never have too much power, haha. But seriously,....maybe your suspension is just bad....try replacing those, one way or another, youre going to want aftermarket suspension. And I dont mean cheap ebay coilovers....because if you have those, then that answers your question. good luck bro.
You said your throttle is hard to push? That could point to a bad throttle cable, or try moving your throttle butterfly by hand, if its really hard to move then that could be your problem, could be gummed up.
your problem is when you let off the trottle the motor jerks down? right?
1) back pressure (what size exhaust are you running, if any?)
2) not used to soild mounts
3) fuel mapping wrong or off (what kinda ecu?)

theres a lot of odd responses in this thread, from the hundreds of swaps i have done and the dozens of swapped honda's i have had on a stock ecu or whatever other EMS i used, if you downshift and your at about 3.5-4k and you blip the throttle yes its going to be a little jerky this is par for course if your using aftermarket mounts
now if you find it to be excessive check play in the throttle cable or there for lack of if your barely touching the throttle pedal well then its too tight if you have excess play in the pedal then its too lose, also the throttle plate COULD be sticking in the bore and be misadjusted.
if those are all good then check your TPS voltage make sure its sweeping correctly after you check those please return and tell us your findings those are all good starting points and take only a few minutes each to check.

I've had this problem too....many of the after market throttle bodies have this issue. Try getting some BG throttle body spray, and follow the instructions.
