Icon6 Serviced my CR-V

I decided it was time to do a little maintenance on my CR-V. Ive had it for about 4 months and put 5000 miles on it and decided to do an oil change and differential fluid change. I do all my own work and have built a b20v hatch, so it was nothing i am not used to. The diff fluid change was as easy as could be. I just used one of the twist valve/ clear tubing tools and squeezed half of each quart of the dual pump fluid in, then consolidated to one bottle. It only took about 1 quart, Honda calls for 1.1 quart but it started spilling out after 1 quart. Two quarts of the dual pump fluid was only $19.95 from the dealer. Not much for the piece of mind. I've been doing a lot of snow drifting with this thing since I got it so i wanted to keep that thing as problem free as possible. I used the PH7317 oil filter, just to get that tiny bump in oil pressure, and used 5-30 Mobil1 for oil. I think I am going to flush all the brake fluid next (little on the dark side) and check the drums for wear. Any other things to check feel free to let me know!

I would recommend replacing the in cabin air-filter. I think most either don't know, forget, too lazy or don't want to pay the dealer to replace it. Replaced mine last month and it was filthy (looked it it was never replaced).

Kind of a pain to get to though. There's a cross bar that goes right in front of the filter. The bolts (8mm & 10mm, I think) can be a chore to get to.
