The SMT5 is a piggy-back controller which modifies the signals to the standard ECU to achieve better economy and more power. It can be used to "iron out" the manufacturing tolerances of a standard engine, and to achieve a truly customised engine performance. This system is a pre-requisite to cam changes, exhaust and manifold changes, and to any engine modification.
