Paid $1600 for some 17 inch Volk LE37 for an Integra Type R back in August of 2010. Since seller is in Hong Kong estimated shipping time by sea was about 1-4 months to Florida. Seller told me it would probably take about a month. I checked the tracking numbers weekly and they never updated from when they got sent out from Hong Kong. I also asked for a copy of the shipping receipt which the seller never provided me.
After numerous e-mails back and forth to the seller and shipping company (Hong Kong Post, HKP) I finally get a response from HKP in DEC 2010 with an update. They state that the packages were lost and that seller has been informed of this and needs to provide "certificate of posting" to obtain a refund. Seller informs me he has not heard from HKS and that he will check into it. He states that he left multiple messages to HKP and they never replied back. He has ignored most of my PM's on here. The only response I get from him usually is "he is looking into it."
Keep in mind that both times I e-mailed HKP I received an email within a few days stating that said packages were lost and seller has not provided certificate of posting to process a refund yet seller is claming HKP never contacted him. Me being over 6000 miles away and seller being only a few miles away from HKP yet he has trouble "contacting them."
CLIFFS:
Shipping company lost wheels.
Shipping company informs me wheels are lost and that shipper needs to fill out a claim for refund. Shipping company also says they informed seller of this status.
Seller claims shipping company never told him any of this and that he is having a difficult time contacting the shipping company yet I have no problems contacting the shipping company and I am 6000 miles way.
