Yes to the 24.5, a few have done it now Im pretty sure.

and DP went 9.0, 2 times In SWFD trim, on a 67mm I believe.
CCT went 9.14 with a 67mm

but on a 67 with 24.5's

I was thinking CCT was close as well as DP

 

I dont know if either DP or CCT went into the 8's, but they both are dancing on the doorstep..

Mapps was pretty close also..

 

UMM DP IS RUNNING A 72MM PTE UNIT NOT A 67MM

ROB MAPPS HAS DONE 9.37 I BELIEVE AND THERE IS ONE GUY THAT HAS DONE 9.1

Also, DP went 8.94@173

but if they are 72mm, I guess thats not helping the hunt for the 67mm

YES BUT IN SFWD UR ALLOWED TO RUN 72MM ITS TRUE STREET THAT IS LIMETED TO 67MM

 

SFWD is a 72mm class. 67mm and 24.5's would be TS trim.

 

we are on "honda-tech".....so there is no honda on a 67mm turbo with 24.5 or 26" that has gone 8's

 

is kevin v on a 67mm???? if so then yes he would be the man then I do know he was on 24.5 for sure

I think Billy Bad A$$ (CCT) is gonna be the first FWD Honda do it this year. Fred (HPC) could be a good candidate too, but don't know whether or not he's sticking with the 62mm. Got my eye on Ricky Everly to do it, also.

There's three good candidates! Gonna be another stellar year for the TS class.

Theres not much to look forward to in TS trim in the northeast since its only 2 races all year. Its not worth giving up 10+mph through out the year to the 72mm guys.....

Thats a good point there. Ill stick with the 67 and am gonna try to run 8's with it see how that goes.

No not yet, I think if Jason Hunt puts a 67mm then he would give anyone in that class a run for there money(he ran 9.50@153 on the 3rd pass in t/s trim with a 62mm). Good luck to all T/S guys and look forward to seeing to 8's this year.
