Default D16Z6 piston/ rod combo question

D16Z6:

Looking at a Supertech 10:5 piston with Eagle H-beam connecting rods. I know I'll have to notch the block with the h-beams, but is there any reason why the Eagle rods shouldn't fit into the Supertech pistons?

I've heard a few people say it depends on the wrist pin design; grooved vs non-grooved, press fit, etc....

I had brand new P29's that won't work now on the Eagle rods.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

most aftermarket pistons have grooves for keepers for the wrist pin.

the supertechs should work fine.
