Well i put on my hubs, and found the axles are to long. They fit in the 91 teg hubs perfect. On the tranny side i couldnt tell if the axles were in the splines correctly or not, there was slop in it but not alot so i wasnt quite sure.

The only thing i can think of is the guy i bought the axles from sent me his D serise by mistake. Is that the most likley thing, or has anyone seen this before? Is a d serise axle (or anyone) slightly longer than b and have the same hub splines?

 

Yes there d series axles the. The splines Where they go in to the hub are the same size. For both d and b series axles just the spline where they go in to the tranny is diffrent the d series are smaller meaning they will fit loose in a b series tranny. Also you did not need to switch hubs unless you had a standered civic Witch use less splines on the axle.. but if you had a si,dx, or ex you no need to change hubs just remove the dust rings from the hubs

 

Its a Crx HF it had really small diameter spine, it wouldnt fit the axles. Thanks for answering my question ill go get some b series axles today and recommence the project
