I have a 02 Accord LX, 4 cyl, auto trans, and about 144K miles on it. When u go to stop, and it gets down to about 10 mph and then accelerate it revs up a little and then clunks into gear and goes. That is the only time it does it. If I down ship manually, and pull it into 1 when going slow enough, but above 10 mph, then accelerate when at 10, it works fine. Fluid level is good. I did the 3x change of fluid but it didn't help. Any ideas?

 

Its dead. Mine did that before it died.

 

Was hoping it wasn't that and maybe one of the solenoids....just my luck though. Guess it's time to pull it and rebuild it.

 

I might be but I was about to 5speed swap regardless so i didnt really care.
