Default F22

The other day my accord decided to overheat and now when i drive it the motor knocks ive replaced the bearings in the motor months ago now its parked in a garage my mechanic told to get a crank kit what should i do i just want my accord running again

buy a new block or motor. Theyre a dime a dozen. Dont waste time rebuilding it.

depends.

The H requires premium gas. Are you ready to make that jump in gas prices for a few ponies?

A turbo F is the best bang for the buck but it all lies in the condition of the motor.

Plus you can easily swap out the wastegate spring to a lower one if gas really does go insane.

Plus boosted F series accords are known to get around 35mpg if you can keep your foot out of it.

when the car was running i was filling it up with premium anyway so that wouldnt be the problem which is better in your eyes the turboed f or the all motor h remember im swapping auto to manual

Ive been a 5th gen accord with both an H22 and the other a turbo'd F.

Turbo'd F all day.

Yeah, just get another long block and be done with. Save that money instead of rebuilding it.
