Default Dishonest SELLER!!! : Kevco315

So, i posted a thread that i wanted to buy a oem usdm itr front lip on here. So i got a few pms and post on my thread. So then i contacted Kevin aka (Kevco315) about the post he posted on my thread. So i texted him and eventually we meet up.

This is what he posted on my thread

"Hey bro i have a Oem 98-01 itr lip, its painted champ white, and has a crack i want $200 TEXTOR CALL ME AT 3236309481 ASK FOR KEVEN"

Didn't even mention broken tabs or anything either.

He told me in the beginning that the lip has 2 broken tabs and a crack but i didn't tend to care about. So then we met up and talked a little and things were good..

He's car was pretty clean, so i was assuming everything he said was true. I even checked out the lip seeing if it was oem, and it was. I didnt check for tabs or anything because his clean was clean, so i guess he was a honest guy.

Later after i got home. Checked out the lip again and it has 4 broken tabs, and had four ghetto replacement tabs. At first the crack i didn't care about because its gonna be repainted anyways. I finally texted him what he sold me and told him about the additional broken tabs.I told him i overpaid for his lip and its pretty messed up condition.

Then i told him refund me bro, because it was all messed up and he told me there's only two broken but it was four. But then he told me to put in 50 to fix the lip because he can get it fixed/painted for 100. And he told me il put in the other 50 or so. So, i told him just give me the 50 so i can bring it to my friends paint shop and get it fixed.

Then after that he said nvm, told me its my problem now. I could of help you but im being dumb. I guess you shouldn't trust newbies hondatech users.

His car was clean but a shady seller.

He drives a champ white 98 front end coupe intega with a usdm itr front lip aswell with 4x114 setup.

Lives near the 710 north freeway off the exit firestone. Meet him at target. He told me he lives a few street down.

323-630-9481 his name is kevin

I'll be posting pictures of the lip tomorrow since its late..

Here's the thread i made.

Sadness. Shady sellers with clean cars. Makes me wonder how they were blessed with a clean car. Worst thing is that, you drove to him and willing to drive back for the money, seller just doesn't wanna refund because he knows he sold a bunkass part.

Post up his phone number and location that way people know not to head in his direction.

looks can always be deceiving, never judge a book by its cover. you should've checked the lip regardless before you brought it home.

There's not much to hear really, Werf is willing to make the drive back for his money. All the seller has to do is return the money- it hasn't even been a few hours yet that he's asking for his cash back.

^^ Here we go again. The theif/bad seller advocate.

Anyhow, OP, you should always check the product before buying it, especially if you are picking up the part at a location other than a house/apt. A lot of people are not very upfront at all when selling.

how is this even legible...he obviously met the seller in person and it was his responsibility to check out the merchandise fully before handing over the cash...this is a no brainer.

to the op learn from your mistakes...next time fully inspect before buying.

Regardless of how it went down- let this be a lesson for your future purchases. Look before you buy & don't put ppl on blast when you could have taken 2 minutes, looked at the item, avoiding a useless thread.

Legible? Seemed pretty easy for me to read.

I like how you dont quote my full comment and reiterate what I previously said about it being the OP's fault. /thread

in case you didn't notice i only quote the garbage that you were referring to as in me being a thief advocate...i find it funny and ironic that you take defense from someone like myself who doesn't just jump on the op blame game bandwagon like other people do before ever hearing the other peoples story first...i read more than what you think when people post up threads like this and your quick to judgement responses...!!!

OP you saw the lip in person, you f*cked up. regardless of what the seller said, you could have easily noticed the damages. buyers remorse is not the sellers fault. you f*cked up, learn form your mistake and move on.

Would you mean, "offense" by chance?

I read the facts as well as everyone else.

In this case, yes, the OP should have checked the part before the purchase like I have previously said.

In the case of "K20" I read the CL posts as well as the HT thread where the SAME number was used.

Anyhow, arguing with you is pointless and seems like a mental struggle for you. I'll stick to arguments with people who actually present a mental challenge, and not those who are mentally challenged.

rofl...i was correct when i meant defense...kind of like you are doing by responding back to my rebuttals...anyways i stand by my previous paragraph so if your still to idiotic to figure out what i was trying to say then so be it.

kind of mind boggling though for someone who's been on this forum as long as you have claiming to be a bump masta that your still too incompetent to actually understand the english language...maybe it will take another 42k posts for you to figure it out.

btw im still waiting for you to prove your facts that you made in the other thread yesterday...maybe if you had the time to leave this site for a damn minute you could probably try google to back up your ridiculous unproven statement.

You should have looked it over before you gave him the money.

So, really, it's your fault for not taking a closer look at it after he told you that it had broken tabs. Whether it was two, four, or all of them, you should have inspected it before you paid for it. Sorry, but it's really not his fault that you didn't do that.
