Default Eibach Springs, Uneven Height Issue

Okay so Ive got Eibach Sportline springs, with koni yellows. Love the suspension, however the front sits a bit higher than the back, n just looks weird. Most ppl come up to me and tell me to just cut the springs, but i dont want to ruin these springs. Any suggestions?

Rear trailing arm bushings/RTA

Youd be supriesed how easy it is to get the springs mixed up.

But I think if the springs were wrong, the front would be slammed and the rear lifted?

Also, sence you have koni's they have adjustable perches, are they even front and rear?

Make sure you assembled the front Koni shocks correctly. It's easy to install the front perches upside down, making the car about 1" higher in the front.

The rear perches look like a cup facing up. The front perches look like a shallower cup, but they must face DOWN, with the springs fitting over the top of and around them.

if the rta's were bad that would effect the rear, im more curious as to why the fronts mountain climbing status

Yep, the front perches are most definitely installed upside down. Rears are fine.

Flip those front perches around and you'll be good. Be sure to get it aligned afterwards since the front will sit lower and the tires will toe out more than before.

lol my buddy did the same on his 96 hatch when he first installed his Konis. We changed them around in my driveway back in the day.

*edit* here's a pic of my Konis with the perch installed correctly.

Just push on the break in the clip with a flat screwdriver to work it out of the groove and move it to the next groove.

You may be back up near the height you were at before, though.

Yeah that lowest perch setting is meant more for taller OEM springs. I run my OEM GSR springs up front on the lowest Koni perch setting.

And they have stiffer springs to allow the lower ride height.

Mild lowering springs on the lowest circlip setting will bottom out frequently, which will kill the shocks quickly.

I am aware of that.

I said no, and it is due to my friend having sportlines on the lowest setting on sports for well over a year with no issues.

i think im going to raise the clip up a notch, my flex pipe is 1" off the floor n i feel like im bound to break something. I believe there were 4 notches, which would u recommend to move it to that will keep the shocks safe?

ohhh you must have the SP3 versions, which should have 5 notches on all 4 corners. Regular Sports have 2 in front and 3 in back.

If you measure the distance between the notches, multiply that by 1.5 and that's about how much ride height change each notch level will make.
