Default B20 questions?

I am buying a b20b from hmotorsonline. I want to know which motor i should get there is a big price difference cause of specs here is specs and price...

126Hp 131Trq 8.8 Compression(96-98)
146Hp 133Trq 9.6 Compression (99-00)
$ 575.00 Plus shipping and handling 96-98 Spec
$ 750.00 Plus shipping and handling 99-00 Spec

I want to know which one i should get because regardless of which b20 motor i get i am putting a b16 head on it. Any opinions?

I think most of the power in the newer B20's comes from the higher compression and head, so if you are going to put a B16 head on it anyway, I would get the 96-98.

Well my b18 blew up so im swapping it with a b20 (obvious) well I am going to put on a b16 head to make B20/vtec I would like to be able to make 200 horsepower Eventually, Not as soon as i get it, But i was thinking b20/vtec with cold air intake, b18 header, a new feul injectors, then maybe a tune to start. But i know horsepower is an addiction so im sure my mind will be changing alot after i get this motor to were i feel i want it

power is from the bump in compression and the ecu that runs it. the head is the same. the best head is the 97 p8r head that came on some b20bs. if your doing a b20v its up to you but the phk pistons are way better for all motor then the b20b pistons. or you could use the saved money and put that towards rs machine pistons and arp rod bolts.
