Hey guys looking to break 10.00 and faster in the 1000ft at a local track.
I have the power to run faster. I just need to get it all the power to the ground.
If any of you have ran this fast or faster on DRAG RADIALS ONLY will you please give me some advice on how to reach my goal?

I am using a 2000 ek hatch. If any of you have pics of a ek running drag radials and running fast times post them up.

Your best bet is the drag forum alot of guys in there have tons of knowledge when it comes to this.

ek with MH 235-60-15

 

I haven't ran the 1/4 or 1000ft but, I have ran 1/8 mile alot. My best to date on my 235/60/15 m&h's is 6.91@114 w/ a high 1.7 60ft

 

M/T drag radials 26'' tall

 

235/60/15 MT radials. Never ran them at the track just street use. I found it pointless to try and run hella power on radials at the track, I wanted to go as fast as possible and not limit myself. I sure could use some good suspension though haha.

 

These are some old BF Goodrich 225/50/15 on my EK9 back in the Caribbean...

 

reaction, how was the traction on the street with the MT's

 

traction was pretty good and stable. although, depending on how much power you're putting down, you'll still spin the crap out of them. I've had a lot of friends with the M&H dot's, not a radial but they hook a little better.

 

Street Ima only push about 400-500hp

 

Get hoosier qtp 26x9.5x15 if you want to hook on the street but don't plan on driving in the rain or taking hard corners at 80plus
