Need help with integra 94 tranny (1st and R)please help
Hello i just purchase a tranny from a junker i install a f1-stage 2 clutch.the car is running fine just bump into recently my reverse is popping out and going into 1 gear is kinda hard sometime.in order to reverse i have to hold down on the gear.please help me with what might be the problem .i bleed the slave cyl but also notice when doing this the pedal does not come back up i have to do it by hand.
1. If the clutch pedal does not return automatically, without your assistance, while bleeding the clutch line at the slave cylinder, it is not bled entirely at that point. You still have a ways to go.
2. First is hard to get into on quite a few transmissions. Replace 1st gear countershaft, 1-2 synchro sleeve and hub. It's an expensive fix, and even then, 1st is a pain to get into as you are usually at idle with the clutch depressed trying to do so.
3. Reverse could be a couple things. The synchro dog teeth could be really, really messed up, the reverse idler gear's collar could be damaged, or the reverse synchro spring could be broken. Probably an easier-to-track-down fix compared to the first gear issue.
