Default 91 civic si noisy clutch release bearing

i have a 91 civic si with a d15b and an si cable trans. i swapped this motor in last feb (almost a year ago) and installed a new exedy clutch kit as well. ive noticed within the past few days that i have quite a noise when the clutch is released, kinda squeals when i take off in first gear. theres also a sort of whining noise when i release the pedal (isnt a noisy pedal arm) and it goes away when the clutch is pressed. could this be the input shaft bearing and not the release bearing? i can change a throwout bearing without much problem but cracking into the trans casing is another story

That's your input shaft bearing man. I know, it sucks, but it's common on these transmissions.

Some take forever and some go rather quickly. Eventually the bearing will fall apart and could potentially eff **** up.

What about the throwout bearing. What is the danger of that failing?

It will probably chew up the pressure plate since it will no longer spin with it.
