Default Strut bar for 5th gen?

I´ve got a Neuspeed front strut bar on my 5th gen Prelude and I´d like to know if it would do a real difference if I get one for the rear, too? Do you recommend it? If yes, which brand would be the best choice (except of Spoon)?
Thanx in advance!

That's funny, I was going to recommend just the opposite... I don't have a rear STB bar on my Prelude. So take my opinion as you will. But most people have told me that the rear bar is not very usefull and the difference is imperceivable with a rear STB on a Prelude...

My thoughts are that a rear STB is probably a better improvment in a hatchback car than a coupe like the Prelude. The Prelude already has a signifcant structural support built into its unibody there (the top rear of the trunk box), while a hatch just has empty space there. So while an Integra hatch may benefit considerably from a rear STB, I don't think the improvement would be noticable on a Prelude.

If you want to try one out, it certainly can't hurt handling. But it will consume some of your already limited usable trunk space. The brand of bar is not important IMHO.

My front Spoon bar made more of a difference than the rear, but it was still a very noticeable difference.

But this is a 4th gen, which are not nearly as stiff as the 5th gen frame.

Neuspeed does not make the rear bar for the prelude, they only make the front bar

If your going to get a rear bar try to find one that is a single unit, like your front neuspeed bar. Don't get the DC sports one!!! I can flex that thing by hand! Also, I agree that the back one is not noticable... at least not to me anyway. Maybe he was thinking about anti-sway bars when he said it makes a big difference when U put a rear one in?

Thanx a lot for all the input! I think I´ll wait with buying a rear stb then and get all the other stuff I want first.

You may snicker but look at APC strut bars....those things are CNC machined, not welded and they are thick as hell. Probably the best on the market. Too bad they don't make any applications for the lude
