Am I Gonna Run Into Trouble With These Used ID1000s
I recieved these used ID1000s today from another honda-tech member and saw a few things that concerned me. Any help you guys have id appreciate.
Little Info- Bought a used GE fuel rail and it had ID1000 Red tops that he couldnt get out so he left them in. The used IDs came with there own red tops that are slightly longer. I found the longer ones provided a better seal and more stiffness (not as wobbly). I started removing the shorter ones, completly ruining them.
1. Which red tops should I use. The longer ones that provide a less wobbly fit or the shorter ones. Shorter on the left, longer on the right.
2. I noticed some of the black O-rings on the bottom were cracked or partially missing. Will this cause me issues?
3. Im running a B16 Victor X mani. What do I need to make these fit. IE. OEM injector o-rings or something else.

Your saying replace the bottom o-rings on the injectors, or on the manifold. Do I need to get them from ID or somewhere else. Appreciate your response.

You may need those. Also, I'd check to make sure nothing got inside the manifold. From the sound of it those injectors were smashed into fitting.
